Welcome to Tropicfy, a Costa Rica–based travel platform (currently in the process of formal legal registration) that connects travelers with authentic, safe, and certified local experiences. By booking through our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Who We Are

Tropicfy operates from San José, Costa Rica, offering tours led by certified guides recognized by the Costa Rican Tourism Board (ICT). Each tour includes insurance coverage provided by the Instituto Nacional de Seguros (INS).

2. Booking & Payments

All bookings and payments are made directly through Tropicfy.com using credit/debit cards or PayPal.

Prices shown at checkout include Bokun’s processing fees. No additional taxes are currently applied; this may change once Tropicfy becomes a registered operator.

Full payment is required at the time of booking. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your reservation is complete.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the tour start time and receive an 80% refund.

If you fail to show up or cancel within 24 hours, no refund will be issued.

If Tropicfy cancels a tour due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, you can choose between a 95% refund or rescheduling at no additional cost.

4. Safety & Responsibility

Your safety and enjoyment are our top priority. All guests must follow the guide’s instructions during the tour to ensure a safe experience.

Please note:

It is illegal to handle or feed wild animals in Costa Rica.

Respect local communities, culture, and natural environments.

Tropicfy and its guides are not liable for damages, injuries, or losses arising from failure to follow safety instructions or from events beyond our control (such as extreme weather).

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including photos, text, logo, and design, belongs to Tropicfy. You may not reproduce or use it without written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

Tropicfy will not be held responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or participation in our tours. Our guides’ insurance coverage complies with national standards set by the ICT and INS.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica. Any disputes shall be resolved under Costa Rican jurisdiction.
